Canfield's standard 20-degree SBF head, in testing, has proven it's 400 plus horsepower capable. In dyno testing with a camshaft of less than .600 lift, unported Victor junior, a 306 c.i. 9.9 compresseion ratio engine, made 414 h.p

Intake runners are designed to keep intake volumes at a minimum so as to keep air speeds up.

Head assemblies from Canfield feature premium quality components. Flat tappet assemblies use American made 1.44 or 1.55 diameter dual springs. All locks and retainers are 10-degree heat treated chrome-moly steel. Race quality stainless steel valves or optional titanium is used exclusively.

Race proven valve jobs are done on the latest computerized seat and guide machines.

Combustion chambers are standard at 58 c.c. in as cast or our optional CNC milled 54, 58 or 65 c.c. chambered heads.
