Performer Multi-Point EFI Systems

For Chevrolet/GMC Vehicles Originally Equipped with Throttle Body Injection

Get Emissions-Legal Power at an Affordable Price
Performer Multi-Point EFI Systems are designed for 1987-95 Chevy/GMCs with 5.7L & 7.4L engines originally equipped with Throttle Body Injection. These complete systems utilize the stock computer, stock sensors and throttle body unit (without the stock injectors) for a simple and effective conversion to multi-point fuel injection. Fuel is injected directly into the head for ideal fuel distribution and efficiency. 50-state street legal on most 1987-95 Chevy/GMC trucks and Sport Utility Vehicles.

Your Stock Chevy/GMC Throttle Body Fuel Injection
Throttle body injection has two injectors placed above the throttle blades in the air valve. The fuel spray hits the throttle blades and does not stay suspended in the air stream, resulting in uneven mixture distribution. This uneven distribution dramatically reduces performance and lowers fuel efficiency. The results: Low horsepower and torque and sluggish overall performance.

Edelbrock’s Multi-Point EFI System… How It Works
The Performer Multi-Point EFI System has eight injectors that spray fuel directly into the cylinder head for state-of-the-art efficiency and performance. Air is the only thing that flows through the manifold and when the air combines with the fuel at the intake ports, this high-velocity mixture packs the combustion chamber for maximum power from every drop of fuel. The results: Maximum performance, improved fuel economy and crisp throttle response with a broad torque curve for power where you drive the most. All Edelbrock EFI systems use injectors that are angled towards the cylinder head port. This provides superior fuel dispersion for more horsepower and better throttle response off-idle and at part throttle than other brands.

A Customer Reports

“We installed your MPFI conversion, TES header and complete exhaust system on a new GM Target 350 longblock just last month. I am really impressed! We cruised at 65-75 mph with the air on and not really driving for mileage, yet I averaged 11.55 mpg for the entire 2100 miles back to LA! I was actually able to tow in overdrive a good part of the way, I’ve never been able to do that before… the transmission didn’t ‘hunt’ back and forth between drive and overdrive… All of this was accomplished using 87-octane. This is one great addition that will actually pay for itself!”

      A Customer Reports

“I’m impressed! My truck was always lazy, used far too much fuel and lacked power when towing my roadster. Thanks to the new Edelbrock fuel injection, all that has changed. There is new life breathed into the ol’ hoss. Fuel economy has improved by over three miles per gallon, a forty percent improvement, and the part throttle power increase is unbelievable. I now have to watch my speed when towing.”
