LS 1       LS2       LS6       C5R

There are three types of LS engines TSEC builds. Mildly modified stock engines, mild performance off-road, and more serious engines built with a new block, and all new parts.
While pricing is shown, the final price may vary due to the many potential options that are available.
On the more extreme engines it is strongly recommended that the engine is started and dyno tuned before shipping to make sure it runs correctly. So final tuning for the local air conditions and chassis maybe required.

Various super are also available.

I have tried to show as many parts options as I can, but knew products for the LS motor are coming out all the time.

I am making available crankshaft kits to complete turnkey engines. reveiw the parts below to see where the money goes and what the options are.

NEW GM  LS7 crate motor $13,600

Complete Stroker Engine Finished Motor - PCM etc  $18,000   See Details

LS3 + Hot Cam = Loads of Fun The hot new small-block V-8 in the GM lineup is the hyper-aggressive LS3. It offers a high-revving 376-cid combination that represents generations of small-block V-8 development and engineering.
Not only is the LS3 an amazing engine in its stock configuration, but with those high-flowing rectangular port cylinder heads, the LS3 is loaded with potential. To tap into this, the engineers at GM Performance Parts offer you the LS376/480—an LS3 with an upgraded camshaft that ups power by a whopping 50 horsepower!
The LS376/480 comes with the same great features as the LS3 crate engine. The bottom end includes a 6-bolt aluminum block, nodular crank, high performance rods, and 10.7:1 pistons. The heads are high-flowing rectangular-port L92 units that have been upgraded with high-revving, hollow-stem valves. The same EFI intake manifold feeds the hungry engine, while 1.7:1 roller rockers work with the upgraded camshaft.
The GM Performance Parts engineers picked the LS Hot Cam (P/N 88958733) to take the LS3 to the next level. This cam specs out with .525" intake and exhaust valve lift. Duration (@ .050") is 219° intake and 228° exhaust, which allows for a dramatic increase in power. The engine will idle and cruise just like an LS3, but the power increase is there whenever you need it.

Look inside the LS7 The LS7 shares the architecture which debuted with the celebrated LS1 in 1997, maintaining the LS1/2/6 engines' external dimensions, though nearly every component is all-new or revised for durability and power production. The block is a unique casting, designed to accommodate the 4.125-inch bore pressed-in dry cylinder liners. Main caps have been upgraded from the powdered metal material to forged steel, located and retained by dowels and six fasteners at each cap. That's some serious structure downstairs. Final block machining is carried out with torque plates installed, and main bulkhead fasteners torqued to specs.

Warhawk Magazine Article

What’s the difference between LS1 / LS6 blocks and the new LS2 aluminum block?

• LS2 blocks feature a 4.00” bore, LS1 / LS6 have 3.888”
• Crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons and cylinder heads are interchangeable between LS2 and LS1 / LS6 engines
• LS2 cylinder heads are made from the same castings as the LS6
• LS2 blocks have the knock sensor on the side of the block compared to LS1 or LS6 block that have it in the lifter valley.
• The cam sensor has been moved to the timing cover (requires use of LS2 cam gear)
• LS2 knock sensors send a different signal type and are not interchangeable with LS1 / LS6
• LS1 computer will control LS2 engine, except for the knock sensors.
