Below I show some examples of LS short blocks. These are my lowest cost builds. By using high quality parts the price will increase. I can finish these short block into complete engines using a wide vareity of parts/brands.
I also do rebuils using your engine. Typically the stock motors will break a rod. If you plan to rev over 6200rpm, it is a good idea to replace the rods before it is too late.
I also show the GM built crate motors. I offer a good price on these, but there are plenty of place selling them, so you might want to look around.
I am a custom engine builder, that means I don't keep engines in stock. I build them as I receive an order.
I also supply GM built LS motor to overseas at American pricing

LS3 + Hot Cam = Loads of Fun The hot new small-block V-8 in the GM lineup is the hyper-aggressive LS3. It offers a high-revving 376-cid combination that represents generations of small-block V-8 development and engineering.
Not only is the LS3 an amazing engine in its stock configuration, but with those high-flowing rectangular port cylinder heads, the LS3 is loaded with potential. To tap into this, the engineers at GM Performance Parts offer you the LS376/480—an LS3 with an upgraded camshaft that ups power by a whopping 50 horsepower!
The LS376/480 comes with the same great features as the LS3 crate engine. The bottom end includes a 6-bolt aluminum block, nodular crank, high performance rods, and 10.7:1 pistons. The heads are high-flowing rectangular-port L92 units that have been upgraded with high-revving, hollow-stem valves. The same EFI intake manifold feeds the hungry engine, while 1.7:1 roller rockers work with the upgraded camshaft.
The GM Performance Parts engineers picked the LS Hot Cam (P/N 88958733) to take the LS3 to the next level. This cam specs out with .525" intake and exhaust valve lift. Duration (@ .050") is 219° intake and 228° exhaust, which allows for a dramatic increase in power. The engine will idle and cruise just like an LS3, but the power increase is there whenever you need it.
What’s the difference between LS1 / LS6 blocks and the new LS2 aluminum block?
• LS2 blocks feature a 4.00” bore, LS1 / LS6 have 3.888”
• Crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons and cylinder heads are interchangeable between LS2 and LS1 / LS6 engines
• LS2 cylinder heads are made from the same castings as the LS6
• LS2 blocks have the knock sensor on the side of the block compared to LS1 or LS6 block that have it in the lifter valley.
• The cam sensor has been moved to the timing cover (requires use of LS2 cam gear)
• LS2 knock sensors send a different signal type and are not interchangeable with LS1 / LS6
• LS1 computer will control LS2 engine, except for the knock sensors.
Scat can make any crank to match any combination to meet your specific engine. Most cranks require a 3-4 week deliver time. All crankshafts are made right here in the U.S.A by Scat. LS cranks are available in 4.00" 4.125' and (4.250" not recommended)

From the dual keyways for supercharger drivers, to a weight saving reluctor ring mount, the Callies LS1 Magnum Series Crankshafts offer installation ease and high output durability as standard features.
Each Callies LS1 Crankshaft includes a reluctor wheel welded to a unique Segmented Mount to ensure positive location even in the most severe applications. The Callies Segmented Mount, combined with generous lightening holes and CNC rod throw profiling, eliminate heavy metal for most balance applications. Machined from high alloy 4340 steel.
Lunati pioneered the development of the 4340 forged performance crankshaft for the LS1 engine configuration. Lunati supplies Lingenfelter Performance with their LS1 crankshafts for the development of the 383 Corvette, Camaro and Firebird. The crankshaft comes complete with reluctor ring installed.
