Recently I got a ticket for driving through a red light, the fine was $340 and I couldn't ask the judge to lower the fine because it was a red light camera ticket. Sure I was guilty of being lazy, I could have slammed on the brakes, but I didn't. Flash flash flash, and my wife said "what was that?". I told here it was a camera and the fine might be $150, fair enough I was guilty, but $340 sucks.

Asking around I was told I could have avoided the fine if you couldn't read the license plate number in the photo. Makes sense. Also I was told many cities are planning to add speed cameras to the traffic lights. that way when you speed up to make the yellow you get a speeding ticket.

I found the above product. Simple, cheap. Spray it on your license plate, and the camera flash reflects of the plate, just like if you flash a camera in a mirror. No ticket.
