EDELBROCK

Edelbrock Performer nitrous systems are designed for a variety of engines. They're available in both wet and dry styles, and are adjustable for power increases of 50, 75, or 100 HP. Carbureted engines use a 1/2 in. aluminum spray-bar plate that fits between the carburetor and intake manifold. On fuel injection engines, nitrous is delivered via the air intake tube. Performer nitrous systems come complete with the nitrous bottle (empty), solenoids, switches, stainless braided hose, jets, nitrous and fuel filters, fittings, and mounting hardware.

As the name suggests, Performer RPM Pro-Flo EFI nitrous systems are designed for use with Edelbrock's own Performer RPM Pro-Flo EFI fuel-injection systems. They provide a quick, adjustable, bolt-on boost of 100 to 150 HP and come complete with the spray bar plate, nitrous bottle (empty), and all necessary switches, brackets, solenoids, filters (fuel and nitrous), stainless braided hose, jets, and mounting hardware.

Edelbrock EFI nitrous systems give you large, adjustable horsepower gains in your choice of wet or dry approaches. Wet systems send a mixture of nitrous and essential enriching fuel into the intake runner, and allow you to select boost from 50 to 70 HP. Dry systems also introduce the nitrous into the intake, but the enriching fuel is supplied by either increasing the fuel pressure or changing the duty cycle, for power gains from 40 to 150 HP. Both types include the bottle (empty), solenoids, switches, fittings, stainless braided hose, and all hardware needed for installation.

NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEMS

NOS Powershot nitrous oxide systems are an excellent way to increase the horsepower of your engine. They use a thin, 1/2 in. injector plate that fits between your intake and carburetor. Highly accurate spray bars within the plate simultaneously inject both nitrous and fuel into the manifold, creating a smooth rush of extra power on demand. They're easy to install and are factory preset to provide 125 HP for V8 applications, or 90 HP for V6s. The kits come complete with an unfilled nitrous bottle, mounting brackets, nitrous and fuel solenoids, fuel filters, 12 ft. of -4 AN stainless-braided supply line, switches, wiring, jets, all necessary hardware, and instructions. Also available without the bottle.

The World's Most Popular Nitrous Oxide System!
The NOS® CheaterTM system is designed for use on 350 CID or larger, carbureted engines. It uses large nitrous and fuel solenoids and can be adjusted to any desired power level from 150 to 250 horsepower, in a matter of seconds. CheaterTM systems are easy to install and utilize a 1/2" thick injector plate which fits between the carburetor and intake manifold to provide ample hood clearance.
These systems are available in both single-stage and dual-stage models. Dual stage models are best suited to those applications where full power cannot be applied at once, due to traction limitations. However, even greater control can be realized by using a NOS® Progressive Nitrous Controller.

A major concern of any racer is being able to "hook up" for optimum performance. This is especially true of cars equipped with nitrous systems, as applying hundreds of extra horsepower can often over-power the traction available with a given chassis, tire and track condition. Through applying nitrous gradually, or in stages, it is possible to give the car as much power as it can handle at any point on the track. Extensive testing has proven the use of NOS controllers to dramatically lower elapsed times in many applications.


Programmable Progressive Nitrous Controller $550
This top-of-the-line unit can be programmed to control both the amount of nitrous that is flowed to the engine (from 0-100%) and the time desired to "ramp up" from first hit to full flow. For example, you can program the controller to flow 25% of the nitrous 1.5 seconds into the run and increase it to 75% nitrous at 5.3 seconds. Or, it can go all the way to 100% much sooner. This enables a racer to "fine tune" the power curve of an engine to best utilize prevailing conditions. It can also be used to activate a retard box or 2nd stage of nitrous. Clearly, this is the most sophisticated progressive nitrous controller available today. However, it is very easy to use, and each function is set through simply turning a series of dials to the desired position and pushing a "program" button.

CheaterTM systems include a 10 lb. nitrous bottle, four (4) stages of jets, aircraft-quality steel braided lines and all other necessary electrical and mounting hardware for a complete installation. Each single carburetor CheaterTM system includes Jet Pack #13725 that allows jetting to four (4) different horsepower levels: 150, 180, 210 and 250. Each multiple carburetor CheaterTM system includes Jet Pack #13735 that allows jetting to four (4) different horsepower levels: 150, 175, 200 and 250.

NOS Cheater nitrous oxide systems are designed with the serious racer in mind. They feature larger nitrous and fuel solenoids than the Powershot system, and can be adjusted in a matter of seconds to add an additional 150 to 250 HP, simply by changing fuel and nitrous jets. They use a thin, 1/2 in. injector plate that fits between your carburetor and intake. Highly accurate spray bars within the plate simultaneously inject both nitrous and fuel into the manifold, creating a smooth rush of extra power on demand. Kits come complete with an unfilled nitrous bottle, Cheater nitrous and fuel solenoids, an injector plate, filters, fittings, four stages of jets, switches, aircraft-quality stainless-steel braided hose, and all other necessary hardware for a complete installation. Kits are also available without the bottle or injector plate. Not recommended for intake manifolds with a separate inlet for each carburetor throttle bore, except for 3x2-barrel setups. Racing fuel recommended.

For those who desire to put some serious muscle into their EFI Mustangs, NOS created these Big Shot systems just for you. They feature a 1/2 in. thick plate that fits between the upper and lower manifold sections, delivering a highly atomized dose of nitrous and fuel to the intake tract for power increases of up to 300 HP. They're available for all OEM and aftermarket manifolds, and come complete with an unfilled nitrous bottle, a 1/2 in. injector plate, fuel and nitrous solenoids, filters, fittings, jets, switches, aircraft-quality stainless steel braided hose, and all other necessary hardware for a complete installation. Racing fuel is required.

Often times, the application of too much nitrous at the starting line can ruin a good launch. NOS Dual Shot Cheater nitrous systems are designed with this in mind. They inject nitrous oxide into your engine in two stages. The first stage is an adjustable 100-150 HP, turned on by a throttle-activated microswitch, which allows the car to leave the line under full traction. Then, with the tires fully hooked up, the second stage is activated via a push-button switch, providing another adjustable power increase of 150-250 HP. Systems include two Super Powershot solenoids for the first stage, two Cheater solenoids for the second stage, an unfilled nitrous bottle, a 1/2 in. injector plate, filters, fittings, a variety of power jets, switches, aircraft-quality stainless-steel braided hose, and all other necessary hardware for a complete installation. Also available without the bottle. Not recommended for intake manifolds with a separate inlet for each carburetor throttle bore, except for 3x2-barrel setups. NOS Big Shot plate nitrous oxide systems are adjustable from 200 to 400 HP, depending on the application. They have a precision-machined, 88-hole spray bar injector plate that allows fuel and nitrous to be fogged or atomized at much finer levels than older plate designs. Big Shot systems come with the injector plate, large-capacity solenoids, large -6 AN nitrous feed line, an unfilled bottle, jets, brackets, mounting hardware, and instructions. We have upgrade kits to convert NOS Cheater systems to Big Shot specifications. Big Shot injector plates are also available, as are kits without the bottle. Racing fuel is required.

The World's Most Sophisticated Plate Systems! 
Take two NOS® Big ShotTM plates and stack them perpendicular to each other and you get the Double Cross nitrous plate. With the plate cross bars intersecting at a 90° angle, optimum distribution of fuel and nitrous is achieved. This is especially important when using highly complex intake manifold designs and/or those with extended runner dividers that reach deep into the plenum area.

Available either as a single-stage or two-stage system, NOS® Double Cross plate systems will enhance any race car set up and provide more blast for every pass made down the quarter mile. This is possible because a Double Cross plate system is capable of providing anywhere from 250 to 500 adjustable horsepower. As a result, these systems have been used by many leading racers to establish E.T. and M.P.H. records in "street legal" classes where a single 4-Bbl plate is required.

Professional Two-Stage Performance
The two stage version of our famous record setting Pro Shot Fogger and is adjustable from 150-750+ HP. Designed primarily for highly modified big block V-8 engines, the Fogger 2's dual stage feature allows an operator to jet the first stage for full traction off the line. ZEX™ Wet Nitrous Oxide Kit

Wet nitrous oxide systems provide fuel enrichment by teeing off of the engine fuel rail and feeding it into the injection nozzle.

The ZEX™ "Wet" Nitrous Oxide System has the most advance features of any "wet" nitrous oxide system on the market. All components, such as the solenoids and activation electronics, are factory pre-assembled inside the "Nitrous Management Unit". This ensures you will be spending less time in the garage installing the system and more time out having fun. The patent pending "Fuel Shear" technology used in the ZEX™ nitrous nozzle, places the enrichment fuel directly inside the high-speed nitrous oxide plume exiting the nozzle. This results in the most complete atomization of enrichment fuel possible. Dry nitrous oxide systems provide fuel enrichment by increasing the fuel pressure to the fuel injectors as the nitrous system activates.

ZEX™ has designed the ultimate "Smart" Nitrous Oxide System. The ZEX™ "Dry" Nitrous System, using ZEX™'s patented fuel control technology, reads the nitrous bottle pressure and adjusts the fuel enrichment accordingly. If it is a cool day out and the nitrous bottle pressure is around 700 psi range, the nitrous system will add less enrichment than if it is a warm day and the nitrous bottle is at 950 psi. This unique feature ensures that you always have the optimum ratio of nitrous oxide and fuel, never too rich, never too lean. This ensures maximum power and safety at all bottle pressures. Once armed, the kit is activated at wide-open throttle by a programmable electronic sensor that "learns" the voltage curve of your TPS sensor. This design ensures your nitrous oxide is engaged at the perfect throttle point every time.
