 Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator GM TBI $90

Gasoline will swell the o-rings making reinstallation of the injectors difficult.
Transmission fluid makes a great lubricant for injector installation.
Most problems in injector installation are created by pinched o-rings.

 Injector Spacer 4.3 - 5.0 - 5.7 $30
Original GM TBI performance part. Spacer installs between the injector pod and the throttle body base, raising the injector pod to allow more air flow by reducing inlet restriction. Made from Delrin material, doesn’t transfer heat to the injector pod. One of the best modifications for TBI's. 5-7 horsepower. Fits all GM TBI applications except 7.4[454].

Hi-Performance Option:
The 2" 454 TBI can be used on these applications. The manifold should be bored to allow maximum air flow and two styles of TBI's are available.  

• The 87-90 has a more tapered base, resembling the stock 350 TBI. The throttle arm has no provision for the 700R trans cable, so must be modified to work. The IAC is also different, requiring an adapter harness or repinning the connector. If using this TBI, the idle air passages in the base must be modified by grinding to equalize idle air to each manifold port.
• 91-95 has a more rectangular base, again the throttle arm has no provisions for use with the 700R trans, thus will need modified in the same aspect as above to work. A spacer will be required to use this TBI on the GM Performance Parts TBI Vortec Intake. The idle air passages at the rear of the TBI and will not seal at the TBI mount.

Use the 68# Injector in either the Hi-Flow 350 TBI or the 454 TBI.
Using the Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator will aid in fine tuning your systems.
