- No machining required for block clearance
- .125 radius on rod, main journals, rear seal & snout for increased strength
- Stress relieved & shot peened
- Indexed for correct stroke
- Cross drilled & chamfered oil holes for improved oiling
- Counterweights designed for easy balancing
Note: All crankshaft forgings are heat treated to provide core strength. All "ESP" cranks also feature Medium Frequency Induction Hardened Rod & Main Journals (55 Rockwell hardness) at no additional cost. Hardened journals are required on heavy duty and Hi-Performance engines.
