The following is a list of parts to build a 434 small block Chev.
I can offer a built combination I have contract built for me at $3950 but I don't advertise the combination, however it does use Mahle Pistons and Eagle parts.
This short block can be used for lower RPM heavy hualing use, or cammed for to 7000rpm to make 650plus horse power.

An alternative for enthusiasts and engine builders on a budget. Features a new high strength block casting. 4.185" bore capable. Billet 4-bolt mains front to rear, center (3) caps are splayed. ARP main studs. Siamese cylinders (no water jacket between cylinders, larger bore capability, increased rigidity and strength). Dedicated main oiling. Extra thick pan rails. 2-piece rear main seal. Dry sump scavenge and pressure provisions provided. Factory left hand dipstick, block has provision to be drilled for right hand dipstick. 9.00-9.018" deck height. Semi-finished with accessory kit provided. Note: requires .300" tall lifters for roller applications.

Manufactured from superior ASTM 4260 blended specifically to meet today's racing demands. They used CAD solid modeling for proof of concept and machined models from billet. Using Finite Element Analysis, a computer program that accurately simulates stress and reaction to stress, which allows redesigns for better strength and weight reduction in the correct places. This accurately predicts fatigue points and greatly reduces the design cycle. Fracture cap technology insures correct cap alignment every time with no fretting.
